  I was in severe pain and had spinal surgery scheduled.I knew that surgery would cost me thou$and$ in deductibles. But I was in so much pain that I couldn't work. i couldn't drive a car for more than 20 minutes before I had to stop Then the Sunday before my surgery, the ladies in my Sunday school class asked if I had tried chiropractic and I told them I had seen two different ones ;one in Winston and another in Kernersville.Then they asked which doctor I had seen in Kernersville.When I told them which one, They said I went to the wrong clinic.I said the people I saw were highly recommended.Even so, they assured me that I shouldn't close my mind to chiropractic until the Drs Smith had worked on me.I delayed my surgery with an excuse of family illness(which was true, my illness and fear of surgery and worry over loss of money)I saw the senior Dr Smith first who said he couldn't guarantee I'd dance out of the office but that I should walk out in less pain than that which I suffered limping into his office.That was over 2 years ago.I never did call to reschedule my spinal surgery and in fact, I returned to work full time 25 days later. With the continued help of doctor Darian L. and Doctor Darian J. Smith, I haven't missed a day of work since then because of back pain and my husband and children are glad to have had their wife and mother now that I once was; not the one who could never go anywhere or do anything with them.I don't mean to say that the other doctors I saw earlier weren't good chiropractors,just that before anyone gives up on Chiropractors and choose surgery,its worth their time to see the doctors Smith.
